Correct classifications

Zero manual tagging is the default. When a label is wrong, correct it once in the Classification tab rather than rebuilding the day by hand.

To inspect a particular stretch, click a block or activity name in Your Day or Your Week. Its details open on the right, including the category and productivity controls for editable local records. Received records from another computer are read-only.

For app and site corrections, open Classification. Pick the category or app that looks off, then edit:

  • Category, such as workspace, communication, or entertainment
  • Productivity: focus, neutral, or drift

An app or domain correction applies to matching existing and future activity. A detail correction applies to the matching window title or exact page URL. Records previously corrected just once keep their manual labels.

Open Settings > Memory and scroll to App & site rules to review these saved choices. The same list also opens from the Classification page header, next to Edit categories. You can edit a classification, switch it off while keeping the choice for later, or remove it. Switching off or removing a choice clears the labels it applied to existing records; one-time manual corrections stay. AI labels may need another analysis pass. A search field appears when you have nine or more saved choices.

Companion’s Not a drift is the same idea from the Mac menu bar or Windows system tray. Use it when a recovery card appears for work that was actually part of the task.

If a Trends chart still looks wrong after a correction, wait for the next classification pass. Charts follow the underlying labels; they do not keep a separate public copy.
